Play Like an Ally is a practical guide to improvising inclusively, with lots of games, exercises, and formats to play with. It includes essays about why diversity is important, how to have important talks with your team and community, practical steps we can take to make sure people feel welcome and much more. Profits from Play Like an Ally benefit the Free London Improv Project, which offers free/pay what you can improv classes in different boroughs of London. The price is a suggested donation of £10, but you’re encouraged to pay whatever is comfortable/doable for you; this book is for everyone. If shipping costs are prohibitive, pop into the Nursery Theatre (London), find me in person or drop me an email and we’ll sort it.
