In this course we’ll learn about the basics of forum theatre, and what we can learn from it for our regular improv practice. We’ll work on handling personal stories carefully, finding theme in a show, playing an oppressor in a show, and taking time to reflect on our scenes and characters as a group. By revisiting scenes, characters, and stories, we’ll deepen our analytical and reflective skill set, and explore the possibilities of both Improv and Forum Theatre.
