Presence Theatre Collective produces improvised theatre exclusively. Our shows are alive, mutable; our actors are present in every moment. Live theatre in its truest form does not have need of a script. It is a common vocabulary, a common goal; it is an act of theatre-making, rather than a finished piece. Our aim is to elevate improvised theatre through professional production, awareness, and presence.
Current Projects:
Love and Misinformation, an improvised play in the style of Caryl Churchill
Carmen: A Gender-Swapped Film Noir Fantasy
Improvable and the Chapter of Secrets, an improvised narrative in the style of Harry Potter
