It’s easy to go on stage wearing your character like a mask, letting them be over the top, whacky, totally different to you. It can feel safer to be perpetually happy or indifferent, not to care too deeply about anything. This workshop takes character work to a deeper and more personal level. We’ll work with physical embodiment, point of view, silence, and sharing bits of our real selves to create characters who are grounded, believable, and in earnest.
This workshop can be 3 or 6 hours long and is best suited for experienced improvisers.
